"USO," which means "faces" in Swahili, represents an ongoing artistic endeavor that delves into the multifaceted aspects of identity, with a particular focus on the female identity as it manifests in one of its most prominent expressions – portraits. This body of work strives to expand the viewers horizons by showcasing the unadulterated resilience that flows through the histories and generations within the black community.
